Nile Senatore, an Italian actor and singer, is praised for his full and soft high register and his striking stage presence, described as far beyond the average opera singer of today (Connessi all’Opera). His repertoire spans from Baroque to Classicism, collaborating with some of the most important ensembles, musicians, and stage directors of our time.
His major debuts include leading roles in Offenbach’s Robinson Crusoe and Coscoletto at Festival della Valle d’Itria and Teatro Due in Parma, as well as standout performances in works by Mozart, Monteverdi, Pasquini, Charpentier, and Rossini across renowned venues like Teatro Olimpico, Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik, and Museu Nacional dos Coches in Lisbon.
From 2021 to 2023, he toured with Les Musiciens du Louvre, performing as a solo haute-contre in Lully’s Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme. The production was live-streamed on France5 Télévision from the Opéra de Bordeaux and concluded at the Opéra Comique in Paris.
His international presence continues to grow, with a Spanish debut in 2023 at Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona and Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, singing Anfinomo in Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria with Europa Galante. In 2024, he joined Divino Sospiro as a soloist in Lully’s Te Deum, conducted by V. Luks.
In this special recital, Nile will celebrate love through Neapolitan music. Naples’ music repertoire is extremely ancient and rich and had a deep influence on composers of any style, from all over the world over the centuries. The main characteristic that makes this music eternal and so loved by the audiences, is its special mixture of popular and classical musical elements, the noble and the simple, the sacred and the profane. All these contradictions - which are peculiar to Naples itself - make the melodies captivating and irresistibly attractive - also due to a marvelous language that is already music itself!
Accompanied on the guitar by Ivan Del Vecchio - a specialist of this genre who collaborates regularly with some of the most relevant artists of the Neapolitan scene - Nile will carry you on the wings of the most beautiful love melodies through the shining skies and dark mysteries of Napoli.
The ticket includes one glass of wine and a buffet.
