Clarinet
Clarinet Course
The clarinet course combines technical training, interpretative development, and ensemble practice. Students are guided to discover the many expressive possibilities of the instrument, gaining confidence and autonomy both in the classical repertoire and in contemporary musical languages.
Our teachers, active musicians on the international scene, bring their real-world experience into the classroom, making every lesson a vibrant and inspiring moment. Through ensemble rehearsals, jam sessions, and concerts, students can immediately put into practice what they learn, experiencing music as a language that grows over time and through community exchange.
Course Structure (Suggested Modules)
Develop correct posture, instrument position, and breathing habits. Learn how to assemble the clarinet, form a comfortable embouchure, and produce your first clear, controlled notes.
Build a focused, resonant sound through guided work on embouchure, airflow, breath support, and reed response. Improve tone quality, stability, and control across the instrument.
Strengthen finger coordination and develop confident music-reading skills. Study scales, articulation, rhythm, register changes, and technical exercises suited to your current level.
Connect the clarinet’s different registers and learn to control dynamics, phrasing, articulation, and tone color. Use these skills to make your playing more expressive and musically engaging.
Explore repertoire selected around your interests and goals—from Classical and Romantic music to contemporary works, klezmer, and jazz. Develop stylistic awareness and your own musical style.
Prepare pieces for concerts, auditions, or examinations. Develop confidence through solo playing, chamber music, orchestral and band repertoire, and improvisation while learning to collaborate with other musicians.
